A Franks Fairytale: August 2012

This last month has been so much fun! Sawyer is growing so much and his little personality is shining right through him! He has one objective right now...to crawl! He spends all day and some of the night working to accomplish it. He gets so frustrated every time he can't move. I love watching his little challenge and how much he desires this one thing. He whole world is focused on learning to crawl! God gave Sawyer this little personality before we even knew him. He is one focused and determined little 7 month old! That also makes for a strong willed little guy! Let's just say snuggling isn't his forte! He also got 4 new teeth in one week! He now has 6 teeth...time for big people food!!!

The Franks household has made it the full 7 months (minus my bronchitis when he was born) without having any sickness. On Friday night there were 5 girls and our kiddos that got together, and all of us but 2 caught this stomach bug! It might be one of the weirdest things I've ever heard of. We all got sick at the exact same time with the same symptoms! Poor little SJ and I had the stomach bug for two days. We were so thankful that daddy was here to take care of us. Sawyer was so sick. I hated seeing that little look in his eyes. He felt so helpless. Clay washed and rewashed every blanket and pillow in the house all day long. It was a crazy couple of days. Only my 3rd week of school and I've already had to take 2 sick days. Oh no...it could be a long year! Other than that little bump in the road, this has been one happy month for Sawyer! He is such a perfect, precious little angel! Everyday I feel more blessed to call him my son! Happy 7 months Sawyer!
