A Franks Fairytale: November 2012

We can't believe Sawyer is 9 months old already! This age is SO MUCH fun! He is on the go ALL THE TIME. SJ weighs 19.5 lbs and is 29 inches long! His Dr. said that he is right on track and his motor skills are advanced! Good job SJ!!!

Lots of new adventures have taken place this month. We traveled to Dodge City, Kansas and Sawyer stayed in a hotel for the first time. He did wonderful! The first night when he realized mommy and daddy were in the bed right next to him, he decided that 3:30am would be a good time to play :) Once we made it through the middle of the night giggles...he did wonderful! He was a perfect little ring bearer for Landry and Kayla! From all of the excitement (and maybe a little sickness) Sawyer lost his voice completely for a few days. Poor guy couldn't laugh, cry or talk! It was the cutest thing in the world, but it just broke our hearts at the same time.

Sawyer has 8 teeth and is eating like a champ! Lots of big kid food! Some of his favorite loves are pickles, peaches, shredded cheese and fig newtons! He also loves to tackle Clay and crawl all over him! He thinks it's really funny to share his food with Jobie. He giggles and giggles and giggles everytime she comes near him! Those giggles are the most perfect sound in the world. Once again...Sawyer has a new determination in life...to stand on his own! He loves to pull up on everything and then just let go! Sometimes it works, sometimes there are bumps involved :) His longest time to stand alone has been 5 seconds! Good job little man!

SJ was a Kangaroo for Halloween! We went Trick or Treating with some of our friends and he did great! He didn't love wearing the hat, but we distracted him long enough to take a few pictures! Daddy ate all of his candy...don't worry SJ, next year you can have all of it!

He talks all day, knows the sign for "more" and is definitely attached to mommy and daddy! It breaks my heart to hear him cry when I leave, but the joy of seeing his face light up when I return is absolutely priceless. The love and joy that he brings to our family is indescribable! We never fathomed that we could love him this much! We are overwhelmed with the blessings God has provided for our family. Even on the hardest of days, walking into SJ's room in the morning as he is standing straight up in his crib, babbling all kinds of things and smiling bigger than the sun...it makes every bit of the day worth it! Thanks for all of your love and support as we journey through parenthood! Happy 9 months little world changer! Love you forever, like you for always!!!
