Sawyer is weighing in at 22 pounds and is in the 80th percentile in height. He sleeps like an angel and laughs and plays all day long. He has started to take an interest in walking and most of the time walks from one thing to another. Occasionally, he will just stand up and take off. We aren't quite to a complete walk without crawling...but it's for sure in his future :) Some of SJ's new favorites are scrambled eggs, chicken strips, pineapple and lemonade! He talks ALL the time!!! Says "yea" anytime we ask a question, says "dada", "dog" and "hi." Bath time could last 12 hours if he would let me leave him in there! We have lots of little bumps and bruises daily :( SJ was very sick this month and had bronchitis. It was my only chance to get a few snuggles in...broke my heart to watch him, but I sure did cherish every moment he let me hold him.
We spent the first few days before Christmas with the Franks. Played alot, opened LOTS of toys and SJ got his first pair of shoes! On Christmas Eve we headed on a traveling adventure...first stop to visit Miami, OK for SJ's first time to meet the Dyer side. He met his great aunts and uncles, cousins and celebrated his Great Grandpa's 80th birthday. We left from Miami to Joplin to visit our lifetime friends from Picher, OK...then headed on a car ride through the night to Grandma and Grandpa's house! We arrived at 2:30am and of course had to play with a few toys Santa left on the table for Sawyer to open. Had a little power nap through the night and spent the next day as SJ's first White Christmas! We sledded, played with the horse, tried to play in the snow :) and enjoyed lots of family time together. We couldn't have had a more perfect Christmas season! So incredibly thankful for all of our friends and family. We are blessed, blessed, blessed!
