A Franks Fairytale: April 2013

We had such a wonderful Easter this year with our family! Sawyer went on two Easter egg hunts, and spent lots of time with his G-pa and Deedee, and Poppa, Lolli, and Grammy. We felt so overwhelmed with blessings this weekend. It's one thing to have the ability to celebrate the vast grace of our King and it's an even better thing to be able to celebrate it with our family! I just finished the book One Thousand Gifts and my gratitude this Easter for understanding what Christ did for us is so much more grateful! I can't even begin to describe the thankfulness I feel in this season of our life!

Sawyer did AWESOME this weekend. We traveled and moved from one place to another and he rocked it! At one point the little guy was so tired he fell asleep while eating his french fries at Fred's. There is a video below...super cute! By Easter egg hunt #2 he had it down pretty well! We dressed him up in precious little clothes all weekend and chased him around with the camera! Oh the things we do! On the car ride home (we drove home Sunday night...he had been up since 5:30am...without a nap) we thought he would fall asleep from the craziness of the day. Instead, he spent half of it babbling and the other half playing with my phone. He is 14 months old and by the end of the trip, he had figured out how to get my phone to the PBS app and play shows. Oh my word!!! I really can't handle how fast he is growing up. Loving this mommyhood thing more and more everyday!
