Just like daddy!

As I have watched SJ I realized that babies are totally born with a desire to learn! They watch our every move, they mimic what we do, and they try to be just like us! Clay's football number was #28 in college and of course every time I find something with that number on it, I snatch it up! I put Sawyer's cute little outfits on and take pictures of him in daddy's number. Why do I do this? One, I'm proud of Clay and proud of what that number represents, two, I want Sawyer to want to be just like his daddy! I want him to look to Clay as a role model. He doesn't have to play football, soccer, run track, or become a banker...but I do want him to have his daddy's kind, caring, respectful, genuine, thoughtful, Christlike heart. When he walks into the locker room and the coach says, "What number SJ?" I want him to proudly answer, "Number 28 please!"
